Research on identified priority areas of agriculture and allied fields together with the extension of research outcome to farmer's field is an integral part of AAI-DU programmes.


The directorate covers seven districts of Uttar Pradesh. It undertakes farmer's training programmes, live demonstration, model village development, farmer's advisory service, soil testing, agriculture and hygiene and agro forestries model demonstration.
